The Anglican Use Congregation of St. Athanasius and the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston will be sponsoring a symposium on the feast of Blessed John Henry Newman on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
The speakers for the symposium are:
- Dr. Peter Kreeft on Newman as poet
- Dr. Philip Crotty on Newman as educator
- Dr. William Fahey on Newman as preacher
- Fr. Peter M. J. Stravinskas on Newman as convert.
Following the symposium there will be a reception, to be followed by Evensong in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Cathedral at 5:00 pm.
