ALPHA course to be offered by new Ordinariate community
Saint Mary Star of the Sea Parish and Saint Gregory the Great Church [new Ordinariate community being formed in Beverly--ed] will be offering Alpha For Catholics as a Lenten program onThursdays, February 14th through April 18th from 7 to 9pm, at Saint Mary, Star of the Sea convent, 15 Chapman Street, Beverly, MA. I didn't know Alpha was something the Catholic Church did (I know it's an Anglican thing). When I was an LCMS Lutheran they said it was heterodox and a big no-no.
